  ACTIVITIES:
  • YOU WILL NOT NEED YOUR COMPUTERS FOR THIS LESSON ACTIVITY.
    INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE HANDOUT.
  1. DONE--Complete the Job Objective, Step 2 of the resume. They should have finished FW 9 to do this step. They can also catch up on their unfinished classwork- CIS Skills Worksheet, FW #9, and /or the Careers handout. The instructional tutorials are also at the bottom of the web page to follow. They will need to get their work from their folders for this. Folders are located in the bookcase to the left of my desk.
  2. DONE--Complete the Education History handout (some of you  may already have this) to complete
  3. Complete the Work History handout together in class (second handout).  Follow the instructions presented on your handout and as explained on the projected  Resume Tutorial
  4.  One-Liner Handout--Follow the instructions that are are on the sheet and what we go over in class.  I would like you to find an actual job (specifically the job you want to ultimately get) on the internet with a job description.  Copy these and view them as "one-liners".  Create a document entitled "Internet Job Description".
  5. Take all of the above, put it in the resume template that you downloaded and then upload it when you complete the resume.
  6. Work on any assignment not yet completed- The Venn diagram showing your skills from the CIS Summary, the skills for the job and the skills you have that match the job (See  CIS Skills Activity Instructions), your Careers handout from MyRoad exploration, FW's not completed, etc.
  7. We will be switching papers with your partner sitting next to you and correct each other's papers- check for spelling, capitalization, punctuation and following instructions. Fix errors your partner finds.
  8.                          HANDOUTS WILL BE TURNED IN AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.

  1. A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace , and then at the end, punish himself even more. See the link below for more info.

  2. The subsequent time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I know it was my choice to read, however I actually thought youd have one thing fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you possibly can repair for those who werent too busy on the lookout for attention. casino slots
