Dear Class:

Article today: 8 Red Flags...on Resume ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: What is the article about? Have you thought about doing any of these red flags on your present resume? Do you think someone should be fired immediately for one of them? Do you think this happens very often? Would you look at other resumes more closely because of this article?

It follows activities completed in CIS- My Plan. Please fill in the information and upload it to your files as "nameskillsworksheet" and share it with me.

Google Dictionary and Action Statements: Assignment. Write action statements in your reflections/review document using the words at the link.

ACTIVITIES- Review your one liners. See Resume Workbook slide presentation for guidance. Finish your resume and begin proofing your draft.

We will be using the Resume Template to do our resume. New resume template. I will also show you a resume builder on CIS that you can use to help you, but I do not want it as a final authority!

. In CIS, go to your portfolio and look for "Resume". Fill in all of the steps on the left side that you can and then create a resume that is "Functional".

Dear Class:

END OF CLASS TURN IN THE RESUME WORKBOOK...IT IS TO BE COMPLETED. IF IT IS NOT HANDED IN, I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT (UNLESS ILLNESS). Article today: Analysis - Read the article about "Intel Engineers...". ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: What is the article about? Why should you, at your age, worry about this since you can't get a job, for the most part, as an engineer? Did you learn anything new when we looked at some of the jobs before?

OAKS TESTING

March 4 - March 14 PROGRESS REPORT 1 ASSIGNMENTS LIST Check your ESIS status before class, after class, at home. Turn in incomplete or missing assignments by this Friday.

SOPHOMORE READING ASSESSMENT--OAKS Hopefully, you have had a good night's sleep; eaten a hearty, protein packed meal; and have exercised your brain so you can do your best. Your goal is to pass this test. 236 is passing, 248+ is exceeding.

PLEASE, DO NOT GO ON TO THE INTERNET.

SIT QUIETLY AND WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS. WE WILL BEGIN SHORTLY AFTER THE BELL RINGS. THANKS.

This week, we will not be able to use our computers to do any work. This will be the case as long as students are testing in room 219. Please be respectful of others. You must stay in your seat during the class period. Do not get up. Raise your hand and wait silently till the teacher comes to you if you need something. No restroom breaks or leaving the classroom until the end of the period. For those of you who are not testing or if you finish- Work on incomplete or missing work for PACE A. You will do this silently using pen/pencil and paper. Wait silently for specifics from teacher.

While waiting or if you are all caught up with PACE A classwork, you may read silently, or work on other class assignments silently. DO NOT USE THE COMPUTER!!!!

ANNOUNCEMENT: This week Sophomores will be taking the OAKS READING TEST. Juniors and Seniors (if you already passed it or taking the test elsewhere) you will be working on other assignments. All students need to bring a book to read or other classwork (non computer work) to keep you busy when you finish your test. No one will be able to use the Internet or computer EXCEPT for the OAKS test. Get lots of sleep, eat a healthy breakfast before you come to school and be on time.
