This is a video wrap-up day, that will provide informative scenarios and examples to help you understand yourself
as a job seeker, job/career planner, and future employee/worker.
Learning Target: You will 1) add to your knowledge of personality types as related to you and others; 2) build on your understanding of your abilities and how you acquire them, 3) expand your knowledge of work place preferences.
Activities: Complete video assignment sheets as you watch the following videos.
A class discussion will follow each video in which you will share your comments about the video.

YOUR CAREER SEARCH: TAKING THE FIRST STEP video ~26 minutes
Complete Quiz handout. Write a reflection reponse to the video. Students are to write an essay about three things or events in their life that made them feel good about themselves. Have them look over the essay and see if they can establish a pattern of abilities and interests that might point them in a career direction. Have them then describe this pattern and career direction in a concluding paragraph.
