Today's Learning Targets:

You will—

• become familiar with our classroom technology and troubleshooting procedures; 
• know how to access your Google student account, set up folders and documents related to PACE and share these with the teacher (required) and your personal professional gmail account- name@gmail.com
• create an account in MyRoads to complete class activities

ACTIVITIES: 

1. Pre-test on resumes.
2.  Know The Machine (found in ACCOUNT SETUP) : familiarize yourself with how to turn on/off the classroom computer, be able to troubleshoot operating issues when they arise.
3.  Warm-up: PACE Quiz
   You will need to login to your student Gmail account:   STUDENT GMAIL LOGIN/DDHS Website
   Login: student ID #      password: 8 digit birth monthdayyear (Ex: 02161998)
   Once you login in, click the link INTRO TO PACE AND ACCOUNT SETUP to find  slides 1-7. 
   Instructions: 1st partner reads - you will open the slide tutorial;  2^nd  partner writes/types - you will write in the online quiz. Both partners, read through the slides 1-7. Together, you will answer the questions in the online document and be ready to share with the class. QUIZ LINK
    20-25 min. This is be written on a handout and turned in the basket after it is completed.
4. Video: Why You Will Fail To Have a Great Career. Complete your written response to the 3 questions. Be ready to share in class. Turn paper in at the end of class.  15 min.

5. Setting up your two class accounts- Follow slides 9-36 of INTRO TO PACE AND ACCOUNT SETUP to do the following:  set up a FREEWRITE document- slide 2
    *Work on  Freewrites/FW 1A & 1B from the Freewrites link on the sidebar.
   and set up your MyRoad account. 
   LOGIN/ slide 36 from ACCOUNT SETUP or from MyRoad tutorial in the sidebar. 
6. If you find time take the ORA Personality Profiler quiz.
