FREEWRITE/WARM-UP: Video: What's Next-Your Future 

Take notes on the video by completing the short handout.
 At A Later Date--
Create a slide in your final project summarizing your  notes in the first column.

You will also be able to see what transferable job skills are connected to this task and perhaps use a few of these in your resume. 

       2)    CATCHUP -  We are back up and running with MyRoad so let's begin there.

          Follow the  MyRoad ORA, CAREERS AND MAJORS Slide Tutorial to:  

• Finish PAGE 3 of the  MyRoad DISCOVER ME: CAREERS handout.  Then move to your MyRoad DISCOVER ME: Majors handout to complete pages 1-3 only. 
• Finish the MyRoad DISCOVER ME: ORA Personality Profiler handout.
• If and when you finish the three MyRoad DISCOVER ME handouts, work on your can create your slides when these are done.
  Follow the PACE Final Project Instructions below.

• Open the MyRoad ORA, CAREERS AND MAJORS Slide Tutorial  found below.
  
  We will do page 4, the Education Plan together 

When you finish... work quietly with a partner. You may need to move seats with teacher guidance.

• Use this site to create a budget for you based on a minimum wage job- barrista, retail clerk, gas station attendant, food helper, etc.
• Will My Job Support Me?
  a.k.a  Salary Based Budgeting
• Roles defined- one partner is the spreadsheet data collector; one partner does the online research to find budget information. 
• When finished, you both upload the document to your Drive folder and share it with me.
