ACTIVITIES
MONDAY & TUESDAY~

    See last weeks agenda for more specific instructions.
  2. You will have 25 minutes to work on this task if your MyRoads assignments are completed.
    Continue Part 1 of your final project. Click on the link~ Final Project and finish Part 1. Read and follow the directions.
  3. We will spend the last 30 minutes of class on this activity— Resume Writing
    This is a self-guided assignment with periodic group instruction. Begin reading slides 1-10.
    BE READY TO SHARE WHAT YOU LEARNED FROM THE INTRO SLIDES. 
     We will do section 1, slide 11 together in class as a group.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY~
  1. We will go over the first part of the Resume Writing slides.  You will complete sections 3 & 4 of the Resume Writing slides (slides 17-19) regarding Your Education and Work History. This is a handout, so you will not need to use the computer for this activity. 
  2. If you finish activity 1 on Education and Work History, you may get a head start on the One-Liners needed for your skills section of the resume. Be sure to read the instructions on the handout carefully. On page 12, you will circle 12-15 words that are good action verbs for skills you have. 
  3. Today, we are looking at the Resume Workbook:  Link The Resume Work
    Particularly, pp 3-6
  4. Download this template onto your desktop. SAVE FILE AS: PDx_fullname_RESUMEDRAFT2 Read through the resume template and substitute your accurate and current information from the Resume Workbook for what is stated. Use SPELL CHECKER and GRAMMAR CHECKER when you are done.
     
FRIDAY
  1. We will pick where we left off on Wednesday with a review of the Resume Sections on Education, Work History and finish the One-Liners.
    If we have time and are caught up, you can work on your Final Project.
