Today's Learning Targets:

You will—

become familiar with our classroom technology and troubleshooting procedures;
know how to access your Google student account, set up folders and documents related to PACE and share these with the teacher (required) and your personal professional gmail account- name@gmail.com
create an account in MyRoads to complete class activities

ACTIVITIES:

Pre-test on resumes.
Know The Machine (found in ACCOUNT SETUP) : familiarize yourself with how to turn on/off the classroom computer, be able to troubleshoot operating issues when they arise.

You will need to login to your student Gmail account: STUDENT GMAIL LOGIN/DDHS Website
Login: student ID # password: 8 digit birth monthdayyear (Ex: 02161998)
Once you login in, click the link INTRO TO PACE AND ACCOUNT SETUP to find slides 1-7.
Instructions: 1st partner reads - you will open the slide tutorial; 2^nd partner writes/types - you will write in the online quiz. Both partners, read through the slides 1-7. Together, you will answer the questions in the online document and be ready to share with the class. QUIZ LINK

Setting up your two class accounts- Follow slides 9-36 of INTRO TO PACE AND ACCOUNT SETUP to do the following: set up a FREEWRITE document- slide 2

and set up your MyRoad account.
