LEARNING TARGETS:
- Students will see connections between the work world and their personal experience as they discover and affirm aspects of themselves through interest assessments.
- Students will know select skills they have that are sought by employers.

2) ACCOUNT SET-UP- MyRoad
a) Read through slides 2-9 and follow the instructions. About 10-15 min.
If you finish early and are caught up with your freewrites....

b) Take the ORA Personality Quiz, see slides 10-13 and the quiz instructions in on slide 29. 125 questions takes about 15-20 minutes. When you finish... copy and paste all 4 sections of information/data results into a Google document labeled: ORAprofile.
3) VIDEO: Learn 360- What Employers Want; Workplace Basics Essentials
As you watch the video take notes and the self quiz at the end of each section. About 15 min.

2) 3 WAY INTERVIEW
1) Warm-Up: FW 3 How Strong Is Your Character? Read through the instructions and follow.
- What did you learn about yourself from the results ?
- How can you use what you learned to help you make a career choice?
2) Video: 60 Minutes: 3 Million Open JobsThis is FW 3B.
Take notes during the video and then transfer the notes to your FW document. 25-30 min.
Give your opinion as you respond to these questions.Justify your answer with a reference from the video.
- Who are the parties responsible for training/educating people for employment and why based on the speakers in the video?
- What is your opinion about this matter?
- Do you think many of your peers are ready for entering the working environment? Why?
- What would you suggest they do to better prepare themselves for work?
