PACE STUDENTS WILL BE TAKING THE OAKS READING TEST THIS WEEK. A day will start on Wednesday and B day will start on Thursday.
Administrator visit:
Mr. Green-Hite A Day Periods 1 and 4; B Day Period 8
Purpose: to explain the importance of taking the OAKS READING TEST- preparing for it & taking it.
Those students who will not be taking the test are those who have already passed it, with few exceptions.
GO THE THE RESTROOM BEFORE CLASS!! You will not be able to leave the room during the test taking time.
Be in your seat when the bell rings
NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED
NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED
Before the test starts: Be silent and listen to all directions and follow.
Wait silently until the teacher comes to you to assist. Your hand is up high.
NO TALKING TO OTHERS OR LOOKING AT ANOTHER PERSON'S COMPUTERS at any time during the testing period. You will be sent to ISS.
IF YOU ARE NOT TESTING, YOU ARE NOT ON THE COMPUTER- NO EXCEPTIONS
You will be given assignments to complete in silence however, bring a reading book for those times you are done early.

Starting the class with a warmup. Article today: Analysis - Read the article about "Intel Engineers...". ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: What is the article about? Why should you, at your age, worry about this since you can't get a job, for the most part, as an engineer? Did you learn anything new when we looked at some of the jobs before? Use full sentences!
