Dear Class:
1) Continuing Learning Targets:
Students know appropriate reading skills.
Finish the Reading Test during the first 15 minutes
You will go to CIS and log in. Go to "My Career Planning Portfolio". Go to the bottom of the left hand column and click on "My Learning Express". "Continue". On the left hand column, go to "High School". AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE, ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, IT SHOULD SAY YOUR NAME. IF IT JUST SAYS "Login", THEN YOU NEED TO GO TO THE BROWSER BACK ARROW AND THEN GO FORWARD ARROW UNTIL IT STILL SAYS YOUR NAME. YOU MAY HAVE TO DO THIS A BUNCH OF TIMES...IT WILL EVENTUALLY WORK! DO NOT USE THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO NOT DO THE READING DIAGNOSTIC TEST! Go to "Reading Comprehension Skills Improvement". Go to "Reading Comprehension Diagnostic Tests" and do the "Reading Skills Diagnostic 1: Informational Text" on your own. You will work quietly and independently on this assignment. You are to do your own work. At the end, please do a print screen (F14) and paste into a document your score using control + V. This test says for an hour so you can finish it next class if you are not done. It counts for a grade!!!
Copyright and Netiquette: We will go over the Copyright and Netiquette PowerPoint and answer the questions at the bottom of specific slides. Please create a document entitled "Copyright Answers" and put your questions and answers there.
We will finish with an Introduction to the 7 Habits book.
Sincerely,
Mr. Green-Hite
